$$$$$Money₤₤₤₤₤ Pounds. No Euros or American Dollars Tax is included in prices. Debit/Credit Cards Money will be needed for lunch every day. Extra events/ excursions Don’t take out more than you need for a few days if using an ATM.

Packing List Check Page 20 of your tour handbook. Pack appropriate gear. Tours occur, rain or shine. Wear appropriate clothing. Stick to school dress code. Hair dryers and irons will need plug adaptors and transformers. Your plug-in alarm clock may not keep time properly in London.

Pack Light!!! Have your Passport with you, not in your checked bag. Pack a carry-on with one day’s worth of necessities. (Including toothpaste and toothbrush.) Have some cash on you. More on that later. Pack a battery operated alarm clock (in either carry-on or checked bag) Wear a watch. Don’t rely on your phone for the time. Always carry a towel and a sonic screwdriver. Carry-on bag The maximum dimensions for a carry-on bag are 9 inches x 14 inches x 22 inches (22 cm x 35 cm x 56 cm), including handles and wheels.

For Security Screening: Place liquids in individual containers with a maximum capacity of 3.4 oz./100 ml each. All liquids, gels and aerosols in containers larger than 3.4 oz./100 ml must be packed in your checked bag. Place all liquid containers in a separate clear plastic, zip-top bag no larger than 8in x 8in (20cm x 20cm) or is quart size/1 litre. Items must fit in the bag comfortably so that it closes completely and must be submitted for inspection separately from other carry-on baggage. Remove the plastic bag from the carry-on bag at the security checkpoint for separate x-ray screening. Medications are allowed in reasonable quantities exceeding 3.4 oz./100 ml and are not required to be in the zip- top bag. Declare these items for inspection at the security checkpoint. Screening Officers may need to open these items to conduct additional screening. Liquids that cannot be screened and cleared will not be allowed to remain in a passenger's carry-on baggage. Passengers may elect to place these items into checked baggage, if available, or forfeit them prior to entering the secure area of the airport. This may include liquids in opaque, ceramic, or metallic bottles, or other containers that cannot be effectively scanned.

Safety and Behavior 4 or more students together at all times. We will set curfew each night, it will vary. Consider carrying cash in a pouch under your clothes. Pickpockets target tourists. Recognize you are in a different culture. Cater to their norms, don’t expect them to cater to yours. UK drinking age is 18. Students still may not drink any alcohol. It is a violation of district, school, and EF tour policy. No smoking. Don’t be the “Ugly American”.

Safety and Behavior Control volume when in the hotel and at restaurants. Don’t yell, unless you need help. Room-room visits –No boys in girls’ rooms and vice versa –No adults in students’ rooms –No students in adult’s rooms, unless they are related.

Safety and Behavior When we give you a meeting place take a picture of it. Know the address of the hotel. (We’ll give a card with that.) We will probably use local metro (the tube, busses, etc.) You will need to pay for those. Avoid using the restroom on the bus. Respect the tour director, tour guides, and bus drivers. Say thank you every chance you get. No food or drinks other than water on the bus. Collect your own trash. Always be courteous.
