 Students from College of the Redwoods were surveyed if they met one of the following criteria in , and did not enroll in : earned a certificate of 6+ units, earned a vocational degree, or earned 9+ CTE units.  215 unduplicated students responded, 42 by e- mail (19.53%), 119 by telephone (55.35%), and 54 (25.12%) by US Mail, for a response rate of 33.18%.

 The majority (63.72%) indicated intent to earning a certificate or degree (with or without transfer)

 53.02% of former students were “very satisfied” with the education and training they received at College of the Redwoods, and 35.35% were “satisfied” for an overall satisfaction rate of 88.37%.

 Seeking employment  CTE: 11/126 (8.7%)  HO: 2/44 (4.5%)  LA: 2/30 (6.7%)

 How closely related job is to field of study at CR  46.47% indicated they are working in the same field as their studies and training  24.12% indicating they work in a field that is “close” to their studies and training  29.41% indicated their job is not related to their studies.

 Before their studies, 41.4% of respondents worked full time. After completing their studies, 53.49% work full time.

 Completing CTE studies and training – whether or not a credential is earned, whether or not a student transfers – is related to positive employment outcomes.
