Happy New Year! It’s the most important holiday for the Chinese people and usually lasts for 15 days.. It is usually the biggest family gathering so everyone is supposed to go home to join the celebration. There are many traditional activities to celebrate the festivals such as to do a thorough cleaning,to paste handwritten couplets and to conduct lion dance. People always prepare a variety of delicious foods such as dumplings to treat the family,friends and relatives and play firework on the eve all night long.

Happy Halloween! It’s one of the oldest holidays known to people and gets involved with religion. It is a mixture of Celtic, Roman and Catholic customs and holidays. It’s celebrated by western cultures every year and has become a special occasion for young people.
