What is the Point? Why have a school counseling program? What makes the program “comprehensive”? – What are your expectations? What are the main issues/problems to address? How do we make it work?

Foundation Attitudes and Beliefs Statement of Philosophy – All people can learn and deserve the chance – Everyone has inherent worth and dignity – All students have a right to a safe, mutually respectful, healthy and orderly learning environment – Learning involves the education of the whole person and is a continuous lifelong process – Diversity is to be respected and appreciated – All humans share a common unity

Foundation Attitudes and Beliefs Mission Statement – Through education, leadership, and collaboration with the school and community, the counseling department advocates for all students to be lifelong learners and contributors to their communities. Our students will have the knowledge and skills to lead fulfilling lives through honest evaluation of themselves and the world around them.
