The funnels of the Titanic She had 4 funnels but only 3 were operational. The 4 th funnel served as a vent and was put on to make the ship more impressive. A bit of a waste isn’t it?

Features of the Titanic The Titanic was full of luxury. It had an onboard swimming pool, Turkish baths, libraries in first and second class and a squash court. She even had café Parisien. And a gymnasium! Now that’s luxury!

The lifeboats of the Titanic The ship had lifeboats onboard in case of emergencies. There were 4 foldout boats called collapsibles. There were also 20 lifeboats. But they had more lifeboats than legally required.

The maiden voyage The Titanic had started her voyage in Southampton, England and bound for New York. She first stopped at Cherbourg in France. Bonjour!

What's next in the voyage? The Titanic then got some passengers and then went to Queenstown in Ireland. But she had to go off shore. The passengers came in a ferry to the Titanic.

And what next? Now the Titanic is holding 2, 240 passengers and she is heading for New York, America. But there is a giant shadow ahead.

Iceberg goes bang! The giant shadow on the horizon was an Iceberg! The crew in the crows nest alerted the crew and the captain and they were trying to turn around from the Iceberg but They were to late! Bang! The Titanic had several punctures shot into her. Continued-> Continued->

Iceberg goes bang! Distress calls were sent out of the Iceberg hitting the Titanic. As the Titanic sunk, people who were awake were screaming! And peaceful music was played! The Titanic was slowly going deep down the Atlantic ocean. An order was given out that woman and children go on the lifeboats first. The men stayed to help the others.

Lifeboats are escaping As the Titanic was sinking, lifeboats were being launched. The time was 02:05 when all the lifeboats were launched.

Waiting…. Waiting…. Found! As the safe passengers were on the lifeboats, there was a ship coming up. At 04:10 the Carpathia found the passengers. At 08:30 the last life boat was pulled up and at 08:50 the Carpathia set sail to New York.
