The centre cares for 30 children between the ages of 2-5 each day while their parents go to work in the jungle or nearby village. The children receive a high protein meal each day, new clothing a couple of times a year, and the chance to learn play and be cared for in a safe environment. The sponsorship money also contributes to any medical expenses the children have during the year. 100% of your donation will go towards giving these beautiful children the best possible start to life. Please return the completed form to us by or post.

ABN Childcare centre sponsorship program information 89 Gundagai street, Coffs Harbour, NSW 2450 Australia Phone: Fax: The childcare centre in the village of Padampur (formerly called Jutpani), Nepal was built in 2011 by Belgian sponsors in recognition that many families in the village were having to leave young children alone each day while parents went to work in the jungle or nearby villages. Padampur is located on the edge of a jungle, making young children especially vulnerable to accidents or attacks by wild animals. One of many heartbreaking stories we heard was from a mother who tied her 4 year old daughter up in the hut each day while she gathered wood in the jungle. The centre cares for 30 pre-school aged children from the poorest families in the village. At the centre the children are supervised, spending the day in safety where they have the freedom to play with toys and other children. In 2012, CWON Australia, with help from our German partners, took over the running costs of the centre. We believe it is a vital project to give these children the best possible start to life. Your annual donation will pay for the following: -A nutritious meal each day for each child (sometimes this will be the only meal the child receives that day) -New clothing twice a year -Toothbrushes and soap for each child (they are taught hygiene skills each day at the centre) -Basic toys and play equipment -Any medical treatment the children require over the year The mothers of the children take it in turns to look after the children each day. In addition we employ a local woman to help with the supervision, cooking and cleaning for the children. 100% of all money donated goes directly to the children. CWON Australia will never take any administration fees etc. We care for these children like they are part of our own family and are extremely grateful for your support for this project. If you would like any further information on the childcare centre please don’t hesitate to be in touch with us. Kind regards, The CWON team
