4 Supporting a charity is not just about raising money, be enterprising in your fundraising event planning can develop your collaborative working skills, management, marketing, organisational skills and budgeting abilities learning about a charity will help you grow as a responsible citizen your confidence will be boosted by taking part in fundraising activities your contribution and efforts will make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged children in Scotland. Kilts for Kids celebrations are focused around Scottish days such as: Tartan Day (6 April) St Andrews Day (30 November) Burns Night (25 January) But can be held anytime you feel like celebrating our national culture. Please take part in our tartan-tastic fundraising events to help give Scotland’s vulnerable children a brighter future.

13 The only limit is your imagination The ideas are endless! Here are a few ideas to kick start your brains sponsored event, run, walk, skip or silence (teachers can dream!) Kilt-aoke, Kilt Idol, Scotland’s Got Talent! pay £1 to wear something tartan to school hold a Scottish themed event Set up an enterprise company with a Scottish twist do a kilted conga round your school.
