 To scope the extent to which educational and training provision across health and social care providers meets End of Life Care strategies.  To identify any gaps in specified areas of education from varied perspectives

 To make recommendations for education and training requirements that cover: ◦ the workforce skill mix and sectors including:  Staff who spend the whole of their time caring for those at end of life.  Staff who frequently deal with end of life care  Staff involved in providing end of life care work across different sectors. ◦ the diverse needs of the workforce ◦ meeting relevant standards ◦ stakeholder perspectives ◦ the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes to provide high quality care
