As you build a career in science or any other discipline you will have many jobs, a.k.a. work experiences. Jobs should also facilitate your career strategy. Good jobs will provide opportunities for you to learn new skills. Good jobs will challenge you so to increase your disciplinary knowledge base and experience. You should set career goals. Keep these goals in mind when considering jobs and when determining whether to stay at a job or move on.
