Fine Arts Overview Period 1 Exposure to many forms of art Drawing, painting, sculpture, mix-media, crafts etc… Grades based on effort and meeting requirements of assignments. Art Show in April at Open House

ELA Overview Reading - Class novels, At home novels/readings, Non-fiction and Poetry Writing - Structure of writing, Six-Traits of Writing, Short writes, Essays and poetry. Listening - Understanding instructions, Understanding peers. Speaking - Class discussions, peer discussions and presentations.

Grading Austin’s Grading Scale = A = B = C = D = F No grades under 50% for work attempted.
