Alma implementation next generation library management system Cloud born and vendor hosted unified system developed in partnership with other Early Adopters, 2011 to the present – work in progress Replaced multiple legacy systems reducing interoperability overheads and overall lifecycle cost, capturing efficiency gains Integrates with digital supply chain and campus IT systems e.g. uBase Migrated on schedule, and “go live” was 20 June 2013 Bibliographic records ; serial holdings Loans ; staff and student records New functionality to improve lending services e.g. autorenewals Retained existing key functionality supporting variable dynamic loans, 24/7 self service offer and access control to sites Feedback on autorenewals welcome Thanks for your patience during implementation
