Objectives  I understand how to mix colors and create different color schemes.  I understand the principle of design, balance, and can apply radial balance in my work.

MANDALA DUE DATES  DUE 01/22/15 (B)  DUE 01/23/15 (A)

Ready to paint/color  Make a copy of your drawing to practice on before painting it. DON’T PAINT THE ENTIRE COPY. Use the copy machine next door. Mark where colors should be. Paint the entire shape.  Use color theory notes for color schemes  Remember, don’t throw the booklet away and always clean up after yourself.  White and Black available  DON’T GET TOO MUCH PAINT. ONLY A QUARTER SIZE.  Color pencils in the box at the front; return at the end of class

DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO?  Ask someone around you to help  Read the directions on the board  Look at other examples  THEN ask Ms. Zhang

Clean up  Return materials  Clean up paint and brushes!!  Put work that needs to dry on the drying rack AND MAKE SURE YOUR NAME IS ON IT.  RETURN TO SEAT.
