Liberalism

First of all, Liberalism IS A SIN!!! Liberalism: A political belief stressing progress, the essential goodness of humankind, and individual freedom. A belief in the value of social and political change in order to achieve progress.

Communism

Definition: - Where everyone is treated the same for example, everyone would be paid the same wage regardless of the difficulty of the job. Communism can be a bad thing because it leads to conspiracy like the Vietnam War. -A theory or system of social organization in which all property is owned by the community and each person contributes and receives according to their ability and needs. -Communism is where everyone is treated equally (no social classes) -Communism is a society in which private property and social classes do not exist and the government own all things necessary. Examples: Vietnam War, Vietnam was communists and the Americans were afraid that communism was going to take over. -China, Cuba, Laos, N. Korea and Vietnam: These are all communist countries Ideology: A system of ideas and ideals, especially one which forms the basis of economic or political theory or policy: Beliefs, ideas, theory, thesis, morals etc.

Democracy Meaning: Democracy is a form of government where citizens choose and replace the government through free and fair elections. Democracies allow active participation of the citizens in politics and civic life. New Zealand is a democracy as we can chose our leaders and who can represent our country. In a democracy, eligible citizens are able to vote for the passing or rejecting of laws,

Simply means any system in whish production and distribution of goods and services is a shared responsibility of a group of people. DEFINTION: The belief in the value of established and traditional practices in politics and society dislike of change or new ideas in a particular area

EXAMPLE : The idea of gay marriage, older Christians wouldn’t accept the idea of gay marriage because that’s what they believed in when they were brought up and that is what was stated in the bible. But now days many people support same sex marriage because they think that if you love someone of the same gender and that person makes you happy then you can marry that person.

Absolutism OUR OPINION If someone believes in absolutism, they believe that only one person should rule the country like a king or queen.

The basic assumption shared by all feminists is that women suffer certain injustices on account of their sex. Feminists stress the importance of gender divisions in society and it portrays these divisions as working to the overall advantage of men. Although feminists are united with their common desire for sexual justice and their concern for women’s welfare, there is a range spectrum of feminist views.
