Contacts During sessions: Out of hours : Welcome to our December 2014 Newsletter Newsletter Themes We will be starting the countdown to all things Christmas this week! We will be learning about Christmas traditions and Christmas around the world. We will also be looking at the Nativity story and starring in our own Nativity. Christmas Cards There will be a post box located in the corridor for children wishing to post cards to their friends. Group lists will be available in each changing room. Please can we ask that you write surnames on the cards as we have a few children with the same first name. Parents Evening Thank you to all those parents who came along to our recent parents evening, we have received very positive feed back from you as to how informative and enjoyable the evening was. Also thank you for taking time to fill out the new parent questionnaire this information will help us review our currant settling in procedure. A summary of the questionnaire will be available in the new year when we have gathered all the information. Christmas Nativity and Carol Concert We will be holding our Christmas Nativity on Monday December 8 th at 2.45pm for our red and green group children. Parents of these children are welcome to join us at 2.45pm, any children in red or green group who are not in that day are welcome to join us for the nativity at 2.30pm. If you are having any problems finding a suitable costume please speak to a member of staff as we do have some spare costumes available. Our Carol concert for all of our Pre school children will be on Friday December 12 th at 11.30am. Parents are welcome to join us at 11.30am for our concert followed by tea, coffee and mince pies. If your child is not in that day you are welcome to bring them in at 11.30am to participate. Please could all children bring a Christmas hat to wear for the concert. Additional Sessions We still have some spaces available on a Friday morning session and lunch club. If any parent are interested in these extra sessions please speak to Caroline.

Dates for your diary Thursday 4 th December 11.00am- Visit to St Andrews Church Monday 8 th December 2.45pm- Nativity red/green group Friday 12 th December – Pre school Carol concert Friday 19 th December 10.00am – Pre school Christmas party Friday 19 th December – Pre school closes at 11.45am for Christmas holiday Tuesday 6 th January – Pre school Spring term begins Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all the staff and children at Bizzy Bears Church Visit We have arranged a Christmas visit to our local church St Andrews in Gt Billing village for all of our Pre-School children and parents on Thursday 4 th December. Children who are not in on that day are welcome to join us with their parents at 11.00am to walk to the church. We value your support to make this activity successful. Christmas Party Our party will take place during our session on Friday December 19 th and will include lots of fun and games, party food and a visit from Father Christmas. All children who are not in on that day are welcome to join us at 10.00am for the party. There is no extra charge for the party. Normal session times apply for those who are in on a Friday 9.15am-11.45am. There will be no lunch club session that day we will finish at 11.45am. All parents are welcome to join us at 11.30am to see our special visitor. We would welcome in any parents that may be able to help with preparing the food for the party on the day. Please let a member of staff know if you are able to help. Open door policy At Bizzy Bears we have an open door policy, we welcome all parents/carers into our setting. You can come along any morning or afternoon between 9.15am-10.00am and 12.30pm- 1.15pm and join in the fun! You don't have to stay for the whole session, perhaps 10 minutes when dropping off your child. The children enjoy this special time and it gives you an opportunity to experience pre school life from your child’s perspective. Severe Weather In the unlikely event that Bizzy Bears has to remain closed due to severe weather conditions, we will post this information on our own website and on the local radio: and FM (BBC radio Northampton) 96.6 FM (Heart) Children In Need Thank you to everyone who took part in our Superhero dress up theme for children in need. We raised £32.20.
