Who is Odisseas Elitis? He is one of the most important poets in Greece whose real name is Odusseas Alepoudelis. Odysseus Eliytis (November 2nd 1911 to 18 March 1996) was one of the most important Greek poets. In 1960, he won the National Poetry Prize and in 1979 the Nobel Prize for Literature He is the second Greek and the last one until today who was won a Nobel Prize.
