 Initial instructor time for set-up  Testing higher order skills is difficult if not trained and practiced in developing online assessments  Technical issues  IT skills needed if problems arise  Training in assessment design

 Immediate Student Feedback  Saves Instructor Time (in the end)  Grading  Inputting grades into the gradebook  Relaying grades to students  Saves on Resources  Central Record Keeping  Once you move past the disadvantages you are going to LOVE online assessment!

Step 1:  Click on Coursework  Click on Add an Assignment  Give the assessment a name  Next to Format: Click on Online  Choose the type  Select Due Date  Click Save after viewing and selecting other options  Click Here to View Step-by-Step Directions Click Here to View Step-by-Step Directions
