About the author Ivan E Weich

Background Ivan founded the company because he loves to write. He was always interested n detective thrillers like Dragnet, Qunicy, and, Law and Order. Ivan began journalizing in high school. One of his favorite papers he wrote was a short murder mystery. Ivan has been writing for most of his career. He has experience in fighting for justice.

Background (continued) Ivan chose to name the company after his father, Bud, because he read through some of his father’s college term papers after his father died in Like his father, Ivan had a life of perseverance and determination. He has been writing on the job for over 23 years. Ivan’s manager assigns him writing projects because he “writes beautifully.”

Why crime and justice stories? Ivan has an Associates Degree in Administration of Justice. He has also worked as a Volunteer in Police (VIP) for 5 years at the San Diego Police Department. He has attended a Police Reserve Academy. Ivan also worked as a Security Agent for a very busy shopping center where he got to know the police officers and detectives in the area.

About the book Take a virtual ride along with a Patrol Sergeant turned Homicide Team Leader as Ivan tells the fictional story of Sergeant John West. The book looks into the anatomy of homicide investigation and is a look into the life of a homicide detective. The book contains real police teletype replies, reports, consultations with experts, interviews and interrogations

The story While on patrol, West finds a woman found stabbed outside a bowling alley. She gives a single clue. After an impromptu promotion to Homicide Team Leader, West gets the case dropped in his lap. Suddenly, there is a murder series where all of the victims are part of the oldest profession. The single clue leads West and his team in different directions.

The story (continued) In addition to the murder series, West and his team also have to solve other murders elsewhere in the city.
