Antonio López A genius at the Thyssen

One of the most important exhibition of the year, the Antonio López´s exhibition, took place in Madrid last summer.

Initially he learnt to paint with his uncle, who was also a painter

The city is the most repeated theme at differents stages of his career. The city of Madrid

The artist looks at the city while others are sleeping.

The artist depends on the natural light and its variations. He has to work a certain time each day, for a few weeks a year.

Lucio´s terrace, He says that: “A work is never finished, it only reaches the limit of the own posibilities”. And “Art doesn´t need explanation, just the sensitivity of the viewer”
