3. Page 3 On day 6 God made the animals. Then he made a man called Adam And he made a woman called Eve Adam and Eve lived in God’s special garden and they were God’s friends. Can you see how nice and clean their hearts look ? God made us

4. Page 4 God said to Adam and Eve ‘do not touch the apple from the special tree. But one day the nasty snake came and told a big lie to get Adam and Eve into trouble with God. Adam and Eve were naughty and ate the apple from the special tree. Can you see how dirty their hearts look now ?. God was very sad and Adam and Eve had to leave the garden because they had been so naughty. It got spoilt

5. Page 5 After Adam and Eve lots of people were born but they were all naughty sometimes and forgot to love God. God was very sad. But do not worry God had a big plan to help everybody. He sent a very special baby to be born in stable, his birthday is on Christmas Day. Do you remember his name ? His name is J _ _ _S. Can you colour the picture in ? God had a plan

6. Page 6 Jesus grew up and told everyone how much God loves us but God’s big plan was that one day Jesus would die to help us. Jesus died on the Cross so that when we say we are sorry he can help our hearts to change. First when we say we are sorry God takes away our dirty hearts and washes us inside See how clean our hearts look now God helps

7. Page 7 But then God does something else very special. When Jesus died after 3 days he came alive again so that he can be our special friend. If we ask Jesus to be our friend he will come and live inside our hearts so that we can be his friends forever. See how beautiful our hearts look now friends with God
