Apprenticeships A quick overview!

2 A full-time job for a fixed term the main purpose of which is to complete a professional qualification in a given industry sector. Some companies offer apprenticeship training to their permanent staff (i.e. McDonalds, Morrison's, Tesco...)

Apprenticeship vacancies are available all year round Most of the large employers recruit apprentices in the summer Some applications close before Christmas Plan ahead! When are apprenticeships available?

The minimum is £2.73 per hour This rate is for apprentices under 19 or those in the first year of level 2 or 3 apprenticeships. All other apprentices are entitled to the National Minimum Wage for their age. (Gov.uk) The average pay is £170 p.w. (NAS) A high rate is £346 p.w. (PWC)apprentices
