Project Leader Dr. WEE Lian-Hee Department of English Language and Literature External Partner TakeOut Comedy Club Improvised comedy is a theatrical art form with quick wit and powerful communicative rhetoric through the use of humour. Although English performing groups exist, improvised comedy is still very much in its infant stage in Hong Kong. This project hoped to transfer the knowledge on improvisation to the broader community through public performance, workshop, online teaching kits, etc. PROJECT SUMMARY

BIB also aimed to provide training and resources for English education, communication competency, and team building through improvised comedy. A core team of bilingual improvisation actors was formed by audition. They met regularly every Saturday to rehears for their public performance and plan for training workshops for schools.
