Connected Any computer part or accessory that is connect to the computer by cables or wires is considered an input device. Example: keyboard, External Hard Drive

Wireless As well any computer park or accessory that is connected to the computer wirelessly is also considered an input Wireless Keyboard

Processor Is the portion of a computer that carries out the instructions of a computer program to perform the basic arithmetical, logical, and input/output operations of the system.

On some computers you need more then one processor. On personal computers and small work stations, the CPU is housed in a single chip called a microprocessor.

Storage is the way the computer saves the information on you computer. Example: When you save a word document the computer stores the information you have saved so you can re-open it

Portable There is portable storage for a computer. Examples are USB sticks will hold an amount of storage on then and also external hard drives. External hard drives are like the computers original hard drive, but this time it is built out side the computer and is separately sold so you can have more storage on you computer

Computer accessories that you buy for a computer. Example: Speakers, Printer, scanner, modem

With output devices you normal need to install software to be able to connect and use the device you have attached to the computer Example: Printers need you to download the software from the disc they provide, this makes it so you are able to use the printer. When Downloading pictures of a Camera you need to install the software that come with the camera
