mummies Pharohs cared more keeping there mummies safe. Pyramids were built to honor pharos and their families Pyramids also told tomb robbers exactly where to look for treasure. They begin to build secret tombs they hoped robbers couldn't find. The valley of kings is hidden deep in the Egyptian desert. It is surrounded by rocky cliffs with steep walls.

mummies There is a mouton near valley of the kings that is shaped like a pyramid. The Egyptian thought this wound be perfect place to hide the tombs of their pharaohs. The people who built tombs in the valley of the kings worked very hard to keep them hidden. They built false entrances to keep it safe. Guards watched the tombs day and night. Still tomb robbers found the tombs and there treasure.

Every day life Most Egyptians were farmers. They lived in villages and town's in the black lands along the Nile river. Houses were made of mud bricks. Even wealthy people lived in houses that very close to each other. That’s because Egyptian’s wanted to safe most of the black land for farming. Most Egyptian's did not have a lot of furniture. Their houses had only a few stool’s, small tables, and floor mats.
