¡Bienvenidos! A la clase de español

Señora Crognale 14th year teaching Spanish Grew up Speaking Spanish. Mom was from Cuba Mom was a Spanish teacher too! My Cuban grandparents are/were a very BIG part of my life Traveled to Spain, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico.

Course Objectives To foster a love for Spanish culture and language Prepare students for Spanish II, either regular or honors Finish 3 units (each chapter has 3 chapters so in reality, 9+1 chapters) Have fun!!!!

Grading 25% Homework (not too much in the beginning, but should expect something every weeknight (no weekends)..\Spanish stamp and grade sheet.doc..\Spanish stamp and grade sheet.doc 25% tests/projects (usually 1 per mp) 35% quizzes (given each Friday) 20% class participation & preparation Sign up for the Spanish word of the day. I accept Monday- Thursday’s words for extra credit.

El texto Has online resources such as quizzes & flashcards. Take home tutor can be loaded onto home computers and has many other resources such as the videos we watch in class. What can you expect from me? I will prepare materials and activities for class to generate enthusiasm for learning. Develop a relationship with your child.
