3. Class Objectives Emphasize the use of Spanish for active communication Comprehend formal and informal spoken Spanish

4. EXPECTATIONS: Students must be willing to work hard during class and at home on homework/projects in order to succeed in this class and on the AP exam. Students must be willing to dedicate a minimum of 4 hours per week outside of class in order to be successful in this course.

5. How will my child be graded? 50% Assessments & Final 15% Class and Homework 25% Target Language Participation 10% Projects & Presentations

6. Late work is accepted for up to half credit within the chapter. Tests and quizzes usually made up in class the next day.

9. Students must come to class prepared with their notebooks and other required materials. Students must complete assignments on time and in a professional manner.

10. Students must attend class on a timely, regular basis. Students must be willing to actively participate in class on a regular basis. Finally, students must be willing to speak Spanish 100% of class time!
