Alternate Assessment Test Coordinators will verify that all students have completed testing. Alternate Assessment Test Coordinators must assign any Tuitioned-Out student to a school within the PEA. Alternate Assessment Test Coordinators will use the AIMS A Application to submit any test incidents to the Alternate Assessment Unit. Once ADE is notified that an incident has been submitted, a response and explanation of how to proceed will be issued. A test incident should be issued for: test violations, time extension requests, incompletes, after-hours test administration and any other irregularities with the administration of the assessment. The PEA is only allowed to count as proficient 1% of their Alternate Assessment eligible students for accountability purposes. If the PEA has exceeded 1%, ADE will contact the AIMS A Test Coordinator to make an appeal. 1% CAP APPEAL Exceeding the 1% Cap Exceeding the 1% Cap impacts the PEA accountability! = 1%

The Alternate Assessment Test Coordinator will need to provide additional information for flagged students. EXCEPTION TO THE 1% CAP Date of last MET, IQ Scores, Achievement Scale Scores and Adaptive Behavior Rating Scale Scores. Notification of Exceeding 1% Cap is late May.
The Alternate Assessment Coordinator will receive the following reports: District Demographic Reports Confidential Roster Report Detail (District Report by Teacher) Confidential School Report Detail (District Report by School) Student Summary Reports (2) SCORE REPORTS
