Format of final exam Multiple choice 70 questions (1 point each) Majority are from Chapter 5 Matching 30 questions (1 point each= 30 points) Chapter 5 terms Short answer 2 questions (10 points each= 20 points) Answer on the blue book provided. Answer each of the questions below with 2-4 sentences.

Final exam Period 5 may start final at 8:00 am Period 6 will have until 12:30 pm

Format of final exam Long essay 1 question (30 points) Answer on the blue book provided. Answer each of the essay question below in at least 1 page, 3 paragraphs. Ms. Girbal will pick (at random) one from the two questions on the studyguide. The selection will be made at the beginning of the Final Exam period.

Essay #2 Toward the end of the nineteenth century, some American politicians and diplomats believed that the United States should become an imperialist power. Write an essay explaining at least three of the points in favor of increased U.S. involvement overseas.
