In India, you can see ancient architecture in monasteries and shrines. These structures were built by Buddhist monks. On the walls, you can see beautiful frescoes. The frescoes are paintings on fresh plaster. Hindu temples offer another kind of architecture. Hindu temples feature tall towers. They have curving sides and taper at the top.
