Materials Needed In preparing for the session you will need: Time (does not work for 50 minute sessions) Time (does not work for 50 minute sessions) To create 5 different worksheets To create 5 different worksheets (Four different databases and the catalog) Make copies of the worksheets for yourself Make copies of the worksheets for yourself

The Process Step 1 Step 1 With the entire class, explore the Library Home Page. For example, finding the current library hours, getting research help, information on group study rooms and computers, etc Step 2 Step 2 Model how to go about exploring a new database I usually model Academic Search Elite (INFO screen, help, limits)

The Process, continued Step 3 Step 3 Break the class into groups by row. Pass out the worksheets.
