What will you gain through the ‘DesignPlus’ Fashion Competition?

 To show your talent in fashion design for the elderly and disabled  To team up with students of various education institutes to gain skills in team building, problem-solving, cooperation, communication and organisation  To show your care and concern towards the community. Outstanding design could be applied to help the elderly and disabled

 Open to students from secondary and post secondary institutions  The organizer will team up PolyU students with the rest of the participants. The numbers in each team can be two to five students  All works designed by the team must be their own original ideas and have not been disclosed to the public

 Clothing products to solve a dressing problem encounter by elderly or disabled Or  Future Fashion for the elderly at 2100

 Preparation of Prototype: ◦ Period: November 2010 – January 2011 ◦ Up to HK$1000 will be sponsored for material cost  Garment Workshop: ◦ Date: 8 January 2011 ◦ Time: 9am – 5pm ◦ Venue: Room MN004, HKPolyU

 Date: 29 January 2011  Time: 2:30pm – 4:30pm  Venue: PolyU Award Presentation Ceremony

 Certificates of Participation will be presented to all students who took part in the Design Competition  Trophies will be presented to the teams with outstanding performances Prizes
