The older generation relies on television and newspapers to be about informed about current events where younger people rely on the internet. vs.

 I would rather watch television to hear the news than look it up on the internet.  I think it is quick and easy to find local news stories on the internet.  I think it is quick and easy to find national news stories on the internet.  I would rather read the news on a computer screen than read it in a newspaper.  I spend more time watching TV and reading the paper than using the internet.
