Exec Board President: Steph Woodward Run general assembly meetings and represent the organization at leadership events Be in direct contact with other executive board members and implement a steady flow of communication between them. Vice President: Ashley Elpers Provide agendas for the executive board meeting. Help in fundraising activities for AAF Treasurer: Lauren East Keep accounts, deposit the organization’s funds, and make expenditures in a manner approved by the Business Office for Student Organizations. Secretary: Mike Sheehy Write minutes for the meetings and find classroom space for the general assembly meetings. Historian: Kimberly Stephens Create an archive to organize documents of the club Helps with photography for the club over the year National Chair: Stephanie Simms In charge of the NSAC Committee and foresees planning for the competition. Each year, a corporate sponsor provides an assignment or case study outlining the history of its product and current advertising situation. The case study is always candid and reflects a real world situation. Students must research the product and its competition, identify potential problem areas and devise a completely integrated communications campaign for the client. Each student team then "pitches" its campaign to a panel of judges. Regional NSAC competitions are held each spring in 15 districts throughout the U.S. The winning team in each district and one wild card team then advances to compete on the national level at the AAF National Conference in June. Competition ASSIGNMENT: Students will submit two Yellow Pages print ads and one Internet Yellow Pages ad for the Haven Bay Veterinary Hospital. DUE: April 23, 2010 AWARDS: 1st Place - $2,500 2nd Place - $1,500 3rd Place - $750 Honorable Mentions (up to 6) - $300 All award winners will receive personal letters of recommendation from Neg Norton, YPA President.
