Objective To promote ASM to reach a common approach on the allocation of digital dividend spectrum for MBB and have common view on the usage of this band for IMT systems in relation with other bands being identified for IMT 2

Survey questionnaire 14 questions, focus on two main issues: – General issues: TV broadcasting market in the MHz band, ASO time. – Spectrum issues: Current usage and future plan of 700 MHz band, technology be deployed, technical regulation, comment on the relationship between APT700 MHz band plan; interference issues. 4

In your country, what are the market share of cable television Digital TV and DTH services? When will/did your country finish digital switch over? How many broadcasters to deploy Digital TV networks in your country? How many nationwide/regional Digital TV networks? How many TV broadcasting stations are currently in use in the MHz band? Please provide detail information of the TV channels usage in MHz band (channel 49 – 62)? 5

Regarding to the TV Digitalization, what is the low edge of your Digital Dividend band (i.e. 694 MHz, 698MHz or other)? Have your country adopted APT700 band plan? If yes, which arrangement (FDD or TDD) have you decided? If FDD arrangement was selected, which duplexer arrangement and what is amount of allocation spectrum in the uplink and downlink band have your country adopted: Which technology is selected to be deployed in 700MHz band 6

Survey questionnaire in detail Have your country decided technical specification, such as Out of band emission (OOBE), in 700MHz band? Please provide your detail band plan and current usage in the MHz band? Has your country deployed CDMA system in 850MHz band? If yes, will you plan to re-farm this band to mobile broadband systems (ie. HSPA/LTE/LTE- Advanced)? Have you considered the relationship between APT700 MHz band plan and 3GPP band 20, 5,&26/27 ? If yes, please provide reason for your decision and refarming roadmap? Does your country have method to evaluate the interference effects and prevent harmful interference between mobile broadband system and digital broadcasting system (including cross border interference) due to different digitalization roadmaps? If yes, how to resolve the problem? 7
