2. 2/4 CJK IMT 28, Xi’an, China Sharing Studies (1) (1) PDNR ITU-R M.[IMT.MITIGATION]  The PDNR ITU-T M.[IMT.MITIGATION] was further updated.  Mitigation techniques of use of low power cellular indoor coverage and additional filtering were newly included.  A liaison statement was developed to WP 4A to inform the progress on the document.  A liaison statement was developed to WP 3K and WP 3M to ask for guidance on the usage of buildings information with the propagation model in Recommendation ITU-R P.452. (2) UHF Sharing Studies  The working document towards a PDN Report was updated, which addresses sharing and compatibility studies in the UHF band relevant to Resolution 224 (Rev. WRC-07) and not addressed by JTG 5-6.  A liaison statement was developed to WP 5A to ask for advise and information regarding a) the PPDR system parameters and b) the question whether the document should be broadened to also include the protection of PPDR systems.

3. 3/4 CJK IMT 28, Xi’an, China Sharing Studies (2) (3) Isolation for antennas of base stations  This work addresses isolation for antennas of base stations in the land mobile service including IMT.  The PDN Report was further updated, and it was decided to elevate its status to DN Report.  A liaison statement was developed to ITU-T SG5 (copied to WP 1A and WP 5A) to keep them informed of the completion of the work. (4) Other liaison statements  Liaison statement to WP 6A to answer the questions on LTE system and signal characteristics for sharing studies between IMT and DTTB.  Liaison statement to WP 1A to inform IMT characteristics, deployment scenarios, and criterion to protect IMT for the study of interference caused by ISM equipment  Liaison statement to ITU-T SG5 to inform that WP 5D will provide further comments on the working document on possible disturbance between IMT and broadband cable and TV networks as appropriate.  Liaison statement to WP 1A to inform that WP 5D has a concern about PLT emissions.  Liaison statement to WP 5C to recommends that WP 5C not consider the bands identified for IMT as potential tuning ranges for ENG.

4. 4/4 CJK IMT 28, Xi’an, China Frequency Arrangements (1) (1) Revision of Recommendation ITU-R M.1036  The work aims to includes additional frequency arrangements to reflect the results of WRC-07.  The preliminary draft revision of Recommendation ITU-R M.1036-3 was further updated.  It was agreed to continue the work until the 12 th meeting of WP 5D.  The remaining issue is the frequency arrangement for the 3.4-3.6 GHz band.
