CAADP IMPLEMENTATION PROCESS AND PROGRESS ACHIEVED CAADP Launching Event and organization of Country Roundtable meetings: 22 countries and ECOWAS signed a Compact, 6 will sign by April 2011, 10 progressing well and process just started in additional 6 countries. 18 of the 22 countries with Compact formulated Agricultural Investment Plans (IPs) of which 14 are technically reviewed. 18 of the 22 countries with Compact formulated Agricultural Investment Plans (IPs) of which 14 are technically reviewed. WAY FORWARD AUC/DREA has agreed to chair the Cluster with FAO as the Co-Chair to be supported respectively by NPCA and WFP Formulation of TYCBP will be Cluster’s priority activity for 2011: formulation process will start soon Organization of Cluster meetings during important events on pre-identified strategic activities in which the engagement of the Cluster will have an added value Workshop in March 2011 to discuss the concept note on the TYCBP and deliberate on the way forward AUC/FAO to invite AfDB to join the Cluster.
