In general -Some Metal content (e.g. Fe) of these waste waters act as catalyst and accelerates the oxidation process -waste waters with high COD values(> (mg/ml) )were not easily oxidizable Sample number 4694 The final COD value went down to half of the original value after almost 5 hours of oxidation.
