Environmental Inspecting in Kosovo The competences for environmental inspections are distributed among different offices and levels At the central level, inspecting competences are attributed to: Environmental and Water Inspectorate Inspectorates for Housing/Construction and for Spatial Planning are also envisaged by the respective laws At the local level, with more than 30 inspectors, one for each of municipalities (except Prishtina municipality, which has two inspectors)
