Habitat and shelter Wolves make dens for there home. Some wolves make dens out of rocks, like caves. OTHERS MAKE DENS OUT OF DIRT. They make dirt caves by digging under ground. Packs are a group of wolves and packs live in forests and also mountains. Some wolves can also be found in asia and Europe.

Diet and predators wolves like to eat many things. Most families of wolves hunt in packs. Packs prefer many types of food. One is deer. Others prefer moose. They also like elk. Many also eat other animals. The predators are very low. There predator is a human. Humans kill wolves.

Interesting facts Wolves have babies called pups ! They can have up to 6 pups per litter !A group of wolves are called packs. Adult wolves can weigh up from 75lbs to 125lbs. Most wolves live up to 13 years when they get raised in the wild. Like dogs there sense of smell is a lot better than a humans sense of smell.

Conclusion In conclusion, wolves are amazing animals ! Even though they live in new york state, they are Nocturnal so you may not see them. Some do come out during the day so you may see. You have a 50/50 chance of seeing them. Keep an eye out, but keep your distance. Wild animals like wolves should only be seen not touched!!!!!!!
