Some seals have brown coats with white pups. Some are gray and white. Some are white with light gray spots. Some are light brown with white bellies. Some have light gray backs and white bellies.

Some seals have camouflage. Brown seals look like rocks and dirt. Baby harp seals are white and look like snow. Seals have different weight. Ringed seals are 4 feet and 143 pounds. South African fur seals are 7 feet and 660 pounds. Southern elephant seals are 16 feet and 8,800 pounds!

Seals live on the coast of North America, South America, Africa, and Australia. Seals live mostly are around the Arctic Ocean. They live around the Indian Ocean too.

They have black eyes or dark eyes. They have thick brown, gray, or white fur. Seal harp pups are white. Seals have many kinds of fur, but none of them are alike.

Seals are carnivores. They search for food in water. They eat fish, crabs, and when pups, rich milk.

Sea lions can roar, they have manes, and have other things to do with lions! Sea loins can be helpful to us! Some seals sleep on their backs in water! Ringed seals make ice houses for their pups!

Harp seal pups, are white instead of brown! Elephant seals can dive 5,000 feet ( 1,524 meters)! Baikal seals are the only seals that live in lakes! Fur seals have two layers of thick fur!

Seals are all over the globe. They mostly live around oceans in America. The red dots are where the seals live. Seals don’t just live in America, they also live around Australia, the Indian Ocean, and in Antarctica.

Seals have many different body parts. They have blubber, fins, and fur. They have black eyes, small ears, and small tails. I don’t know if I can name them all. Many seals live where it’s cold, so they need to avoid hunting animals.

Seals are in danger. They were hunted for oil, food, and skins. People are the most dangerous enemy. They make the waters they swim in dangerous. They take away their food supply. Together we can stop the madness!!!

We have a special way to study seals. We use a time –depth and radio transmitters on some seals. Still we do not know much about seals, but we do know a little!

I think that seals are nice animals, but we don’t have many left. I think that we should keep the water’s seals live in clean. We should stop living trash where they live. We should stop hunting seals. We must save the seals!!!!!!
