5. There are certain characteristics that make the hammerhead shark a fish.  A hammer head shark is cold-blooded. They breathe using gills. The hammerhead shark’s skin is covered in smooth skin instead of scales. A shark is unusual because most fish lay eggs. A shark reproduces babies by giving birth to a live shark.

6. Sharks are amazing fish that have been around since long before dinosaurs existed. They live in waters all over the world, in every ocean, and even in some rivers and lakes. Unlike bony fish, sharks have no bones. Their skeleton is made from cartilage. Cartilage is like straws.
