Apprenticeship Benefits On- the-job training program in a skilled trade – Examples: Mobile Crane Operator, Cook, Plumber, Sheet Metal Worker, Auto Body Repairer, Tool and Die Maker, Hairstylist… Start in High School with OYAP (Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program) Earn hours towards apprenticeship. Choosing the Right Courses Work backwards from where you want to end up. Find where the programs that you’re interested in are offered. – For example if you want to be a forensic scientist use eINFO site to tell you what universities have this program. – For example, if you want to be a computer animator, use the Ontario Colleges site to find what colleges have this program

Do I have all my compulsory courses? Check your Graduation Indicator (myBlueprint) to see if you have all of your compulsory subjects and/or which compulsory subjects are missing If you are missing any compulsory courses make sure you select them for next year
