How to make a quote sandwich

A quote sandwich has 3 main parts 1. Context 2. Quote 3. Analysis

An example of a quote sandwich George was contemplating his life without Lenny: "If I was alone I could live so easy” (Steinbeck, 1939, para. 197). This scene lets the reader know that George could have had a better life without Lenny but he will not when Lenny is gone. George is speculating about what could have been, not about how things will be once he kills Lenny.

1.
