Aims Deepen understanding of knowledge, skills, values involved in collaborative teaching Develop understanding of different organisational models of collaborative working Develop confidence in collaborative teaching

What makes a Good Professional Partner? Use handout grid ‘Qualities of a good partner’ to map what makes a good professional partner

Think Pair Share Talk about an example where a partner demonstrated a desirable quality How did this benefit pupil learning? How did it benefit your learning as a teacher?

Here’s one I taught earlier… Choose a lesson you have taught that you felt went well. Using your lesson plan as an aid, talk about how you organised the two teachers as a resource in the classroom.
