The Power of Confession That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Confess = Saying What God Says And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.  Romans 15:9

We say what God says about Jesus And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.  Philippians 2:11
