THE ONE-AND-ONE-HALF-STORY HOUSE Q: What characterizes a one-and-one-half-story house? A: A one-and-one-half-story house is a one-story home w/a steeper roof and expanded attic The expanded attic usually has dormers, which allow for extra light and ventilation.
