Austin Schmitz and Cole Yerkes Jeffrey Dahmer

 Born May 21 st 1960 West Allis Wisconsin  Normal childhood until the age of six  Suffered from a double hernia  After surgery was never the same: more quite, sitting alone for long periods of time, face motionless.

 Killed small animals  Liked the sounds of bones rattling  Fascinated in dead bodies of animals  Got in trouble at school during recess for killing animals

 Lack of self confidence  Very deep, distant, and shy  Increasingly bad posture, often moped around purposeless and disengaged  Never diagnosed, but thought by his father that he was mentally insane

 Suspected that a move from Iowa to Ohio uprooted him from familiar settings  Parents divorced at age 18  Alcoholic at a young age

 Not motivated to pursue any careers, education, or starting families  Convicted his first murder at 18  Parents enrolled him in Ohio Sate University, but soon dropped out from excessive drinking  Forced to find a job or enroll in Armed Forces

 Diagnosed as an alcoholic but never received treatment  Two years into Armed forces he was discharged for alcoholism  Was homosexual and did not marry or have children

 Killing spree lasted 13 years  African American gay men  Had sex with the victim then murdered them  Lured into grandmothers basement with promise of money or sex

 Gave victims alcohol laced with drugs and strangle them  Have sex or masturbate on the dead body  Dismember and dispose the body keeping their genitals or skulls as souvegners  Killed 17 young men throughout killing spree  Used canibalism on some of his victims

 Arrested for convicting many crimes  Always compliant to the sentencing  Plead guilty for some rape charges, pleading that the 13 year old boy looked a lot older

 1981 Father forced him to move in with his grandmother because of a disorderly conduct charge involving alcohol  1986 arrested for masturbating in front of two young boys and was put on a one year probationary charge  Very calm in court

 Placed in bullet proof glass and steel in trial to isolate from the gallery  Courtroom swept for bombs and metal detectors were administrated  Tried to protect Dahmer as best they could because of how many people hated him

 Plead that he was guilty but insane  Made the jury confused as to weather he could control his actions or not  Sentenced to 15 consecutive life terms or 957 years in prison  Charged for 15 murders

 Found in the toilet area next to the prison gym  Laying in blood  Massive head injuries  Broom stick found nearby  November 28 th 1994 pronounced dead
