1. Grain - Rice, Bean Rice Koreans live on Rice. And there are many dishes that use rice in Korea. Like Sikhye(the beverage made of rice) and Rice cake. Bean There are many kinds of beans in Korea. We use them to make Tofu, Meju (a block of soybean paste), and put them in it when we boil rice.

1. Grain - Sesame, Buckwheat Sesame Koreans mostly eat sesame sprinkling on the food or a pressed oil from it. It adds more flavor of dishes. Buckwheat We eat jelly and noodle that made of buckwheat. And there is a region which is famous for it. Many people go there to eat buckwheat.

Ingredients of it are rice, oaks, black soybean, adlal etc. Textured vegetable protein Vegetarians don’t eat meat. This is not a real meat. It is made of bean’s protein. And it looks and taste like meat. Many Koreans eat it even if they are not vegetarians. It is healthier than a real meat.

3. Fruits - Bokbunja & Wild berry Bokbunja Wild berry Bockbunja eat fesh, fruit wine, gwapyeon, and jam. It is helpful in preventing fatigue and skin aging effects. It is rich in vitamin A so it is good for night blindness and improves vision.

3. Fruits - Hanrabong&Yuja Hanrabong Yuja Hanrabong is grown only in Jeju-do. It is unevean on the skin, but a rich repository of vitamin and good for diet. It contains three times more vitamin C than lemons and a lot of acid to prevent stress and fatigue. Good for skin and cold.

3. Fruits - Bokbunja jam&Yuja- cha Yuja-cha is made from thinly sliced citron skins. It is a liquid fruit tea that contains plentiful viatamin C with an inherent natural aroma and the taste of citron. Yuja-cha Bockbunja jam This jam is made from bockbunja. It is contains phosphorus, iron, potassium, vitamin A and C.

Here is a dish to impress your guests. An array of beautiful colors and wonderful flavors will definitely wow everyone. It does take some time and effort but it’s a great dish to show your care and love for someone. Gujeolpan was one of the ancient Korean royal dishes, served to the king. The name, gujeolpan, originated from a wooden tray with 9 compartments. This tray was used to serve a dish with 8 different fillings and small thin wraps. Number 9 has a meaning of “all” and was believed to bring good luck. Today the word gujeolpan is used to refer to the the food rather than the tray. You can make a few different variations using your favorite seafood and vegetables. 4. Mixed food - Gujeolpan
