E-Mon Energy™ Energy Monitoring Software

What Is E-Mon Energy™ Software? Accurate and timely snapshots of your facility’s energy use are essential to support energy management initiatives. With E-Mon Energy, you can combine all of your utility service data — including electricity, gas, water and steam — into a single location to see how, when and where your facility is using energy.

Energy Allocation & Analysis E-Mon Energy™ allows you to accurately allocate utility costs based on actual usage by departments, cost centers and tenants. E-Mon Energy’s detailed usage graphs are ideal for equipment efficiency and maintenance programs.

Consolidate Monitor all of your utilities, including electricity, gas, water and steam with a single software package.

Identify Pinpoint exactly how, when and where energy is used within your facility.

Evaluate Find out if your facility is operating at peak performance and identify inefficiencies quickly.

Allocate Avoid estimates—utilize historical energy data to bill costs based on actual usage.

E-Mon Energy™ Key Features Monitor individual tenants, departments, pieces of equipment, common areas or entire buildings. Create load profiles and charts of energy usage data. Generate utility bills for tenants and departments. Communicate with meters via a variety of options that can utilize your existing infrastructure and avoid costly rewiring.

Chart Energy Use Monitor all utility services, including electric, gas, water and steam. Identify poor performers by benchmarking energy levels at multiple facilities. Determine specific processes that are not energy efficient. Assess and chart power quality parameters. Evaluate, in near real-time, the impact of critical load-shedding activities. Compare energy usage by day, week, month or year. Schedule energy data collections to occur automatically.

Cost Allocation By Tenant or Department Generate tenant bills and usage statements for all utilities including electric, gas, water and steam. Prove bill accuracy with historical energy use records. Allocate energy costs based on tenants’ actual energy usage. Create a virtual meter for common areas to spread these costs across all tenants’ pro rata. Support virtually any billing cycle. Manage tenant bills with pre-set start/stop dates, based on lease move-in, move-out schedules. Select from more than 80 utility rate tables for your customizable regional billing template.

Versatile Energy Systems View all meter data from a centralized location. Leverage your existing Ethernet infrastructure for use with E-Mon Energy™. Export data for use with existing energy management or building automation systems. Reduce energy consumption and increase efficiency. Measurement & Verification of energy programs such as LEED certification. Read E-Mon D-Mon meters in addition to other electric, gas, water and steam meters. Read meters onsite or remotely via telephone, Ethernet or ModBus communications.
