How do you measure?

What is a foot? A foot is 12 inches long. It can be used to measure books, tables, doors, etc

What is an inch? An inch is a smaller unit of measurement that makes up a foot. It can be used to measure pencils, crayons, markers, etc.

How do you measure? Watch the video below to see how you can read a ruler. Click on green text.

How do you measure? The video showed how you measure. Let’s review: 1. Always make sure you put the end of the ruler to the end of the object. 2. Then look at the units you will be using, inches, centimeter or feet. 3. Then find the last number on the ruler that the object matches. 4. You just found the length! The yellow line is three inches long!
