TWO-WEEK PROGRAMME in cooperation with  The OFFICIAL COLLEGE of VETERINARIANS of A CORUÑA  The UNIV. of SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA - FACULTY of VETERINARY SCIENCE  The AQUARIUMS in GALICIA and SEVILLE  The AUTONOMOUS GOVERNMENT of FARMING and MARINE AFFAIRS, FISHING DEPARTMENT  FISH COMPANIES

Organization of the course  Theory  Place : Acivega´s classrooms in the city of A Coruña  Time : mainly in the morning

Visits to farms in  Lorbe: mussels and sea bream rearing and fattening tanks. Farming processes, feeding and pathology.  Baio: a traditional inland water farm. Fish classification and management. Diagnosis techniques.  Carballo: farming for ecological markets.

Visit to University Faculty of Veterinary Science in Lugo

visiting all the Aquaculture-related departments in the Faculty guided by Professors and researchers involved in that area

FISH MARKET in A Coruña Inspection visits to Fish Market with Official Veterinarians from the Autonomous Government of Farming and Marine Affairs, Fishing Department

Theoretical/practical brush up with fish intended for human consumption
